Welcome to American Coffee Trip. A journey to specialty coffee in the Americas with emphasis on those promoting sustainability, social responsibility, and the highest commitment to coffee selection.
We consider both small batch roasters and coffee shops.
Vision
The Sustainability Project (S-Project) will pursue equity, prioritize mutual benefits, and contribute to the sustainability of the coffee industry by addressing intertwined social, economic, and environmental challenges facing the coffee sector. The project will conclude with a Sustainability Roadmap for coffee shops to use.
Timeline
2019: Identify initial sustainability metrics and coffee shops who make an effort towards sustainability
2020: Develop sustainability score for each coffee shop, refine metrics, and grow library/database
2021: Develop Top 20 most sustainable coffee shops in North, Central, and South America. Measure impact and growth in sustainability efforts. Publish Sustainability Roadmap.
